Getting your horse out of the arena makes them better in the arena. They see more and are able to learn foot placement. In a flat arena the horse knows his job but take it out of the arena you may find you have a different horse.
Tom's goal is to get the horses over all kinds of terrain. A great way to find balance is to challenge yourself on the trail. Tom likes getting the horses to move out on the trail. They find out foot placement when there are obstacles and uneven ground.
If you have some situations that have happened on the trail or just want to get your horse over some trails and obstacles. Make time to come out and get further along in your horsemanship.
